A small city containing the last gym a trainer will have to face in order to get all eight badges as well as a route heading straight to the Pokemon League, not much else can really be found here.

A city nestled against the mountains, Pewter City is home to both the rock type gym leader, Brock, and a museum filled with neat things!

A small city, Cerluean is home to both the water type gym leader Misty, as well as Bill who lives just across the river going out into the ocean. A bike shop and few other places of interest can also be found here.

"The international port town where magnificent boats gather from across the world."

A port town known for its hustle and bustle due to ships constantly entering and exiting the port, there can be several things to do here besides just check out luxury cruise ships. A Pokemon Fan Club can be found here, as well as an Electric type Gym.

"The city where people of many generations live together. The department store is located here."

A quaint little town surrounded by forests, Celadon is the perfect place to relax and unwind. There is a casino here one can gamble at, as well as a shopping center and a hotel where tourists and visitors alike stay at while in town. A grass type gym is also found here.

"Tall buildings tower overhead. It's the most populous city in all of the Kanto region."

A large, bustling city with several ways in and out, this city is known for a lot; on top of there being a Psychic type gym, there is a fighting dojo, Magnet Train system, Silph Co HQ and more! There is rarely a dull moment here, rivaling many of the other large cities around the world.

"A solemn, quiet town. People come to visit their departed Pokémon."

A small town where Pokemon are often laid to rest, a cemetary for Pokemon can be found here run by an old man. A radio tower can also be found here.

"A town where many people and Pokémon gather. The Safari Zone is located here."

A small yet busy town with a zoo full of rare Pokemon, alongside the Safari Zone and Poison type gym, the residents here are rather laid back.

"The town at the foot of a volcano. The Pokémon Mansion is located here."

An island town still recouperating from a semi recent eruption, only half of the island seems to be populated; and even so, it mainly seems to be inhabited by humans and the Pokemon that they've brought along, as many of the natural wild life of the island is still regrowing. However, much of the plant life is still growing and flourish.

"A city where you can smell small flowers and a sea breeze."

A medium sized port town known for its laid back inhabitants and unity with Pokemon. There doesn't seem too much to do around here besides fish in the nearby ocean or talk with the older or younger residents.

" This old village is still surrounded by trees and other scenery. Sprout Tower is located here; it is a tower where they study diligently to learn to live with Pokémon."

An old town with a similar backstory, Violet City is home to the first gym in the region and the Sprout Tower. One can learn a lot by walking the streets and speaking with the townsfolk.

" A town where people and Pokémon live together in simple harmony. Slowpoke Well is located here; when Slowpoke are thirsty, they come here to drink."

A small town nestled in between Slowpoke Well and Illex Forest, Aceala Town is also known as home to the third gym and a place of wonder. It's said the forest nearby occasionally houses a legendary Pokemon that often visits the shrine inside.

"A developing city where people and Pokémon come and go as they like."

A somewhat large and bustling city with more than enough to do for the average person. A gym can be found here, as well as a casino, National Park and Pokeathelon that's regularly held.

"A city that even now bears the marks of its history. Located here are Bell Tower, a tower that's said to have a Legendary Pokémon that lands there, and Burned Tower, a tower that was hit by lightning, and subsequently caught fire and burned."

A city full of history, Ecruteak is home to the Burned Tower and dance studio among many other things. A ghost type gym as well as a contest hall can also be found here.

" A city where you can hear the melody of the sea. Glitter Lighthouse is located here; it shines brightly over the ocean with the power of Ampharos."

A port city nestled in the hills, Olivine is famous for its Pokemon run light house alongside its beautiful beach. A small farm that focuses on raising Miltank can be found just outside the city.

"A beachside city that has benefitted greatly from the sea."

An island town just past the dangerous whirl islands via surf, Cianwood is a rather isolated town with its own herb shop. A fighting type gym can also be found here, if you're not interested in sunbathing on the luxurious beaches or wandering around the small, grassy routes nearby.

"A town with a suspicious air to it. It's a hiding place for Ninjas."

A town nestled between Mt Mortar and Ice Path, it can generally get and stay quite cold here. The Lake of Rage is up north, with many Pokemon found in and around the water. The ice type gym leader for the region can also be found here.

There is a Ranger base nestled away here, where new recruits can often be seen going to and from the building near the Lake of Rage.

"A town where the contrast between colorful flowers and deep, verdant forests is most beautiful."

A small, quaint little town where some can find a little rest and relaxation during their travels.

"A whiff of salt is always in the air in this city, which is skirted by the ocean shore."

A small town with slight access to the ocean many come here to settle down and raise families alongside the Pokemon that roam the varying routes. A normal type Gym can be found here.

"This city is the main hub of industry in the Hoenn region, with the Devon Corporation as its beating heart."

Home to the company Dev Corp, Rustboro is full of live and people; namely business people looking to make their way in the world. A rock type gym can also be found here.

"New trends are always the rage among the inhabitants of this small island town."

An island city to one corner of the Hoenn region, one can find a cavern full of Pokemon and ancient writing here. A fighting type gym can also be found here.

"People from many different regions gather and mingle in this bustling port city."

A hub for water traffic, Slateport is one of the few port cities in Hoenn and sees many ships come and go with varying product and people within it. An outside marketplace can also be found here, alongside a light house and museum.

"This large city is located in the heart of the Hoenn region, at the crossroads of its nostalgic past and new technology."

A city constantly on the move and forever expanding, Mauville as a surprisingly strong electric grid due to the gym leader's influence and ability with electric type Pokemon. Varying shops, sites and houses can be found here. The town is always seeing new people come and go due to the many entrances it has.

"Thanks to the prevailing wind pattern, this town is always kept clear of falling volcanic ash."

A small town between mountains and plains, Verdanturf is known for its clean air and wonderful souroundings. It has stayed quite small over the years and generally consists of older folks or people with families -- that is, of course if the Contest Hall isn't running during the contest seasons.

"A town formed by scholars who gather to research meteorites."

A town nestled in between many open feilds, the residents are best known for being able to cultivate the land even as the ash and soot rains down from Mt Chimney to the north. The most notable place here is the contest hall, which brings in regular amounts of tourists.

"A popular spot in the Hoenn region, thanks to its hot springs, said to cure any ailment."

A town that can be quite hard to get to unless you know where to go, Lavaridge is nestled and blockaded by mountains on all but one side, and it doesn't take too long to get from Mt Chimney from here. Many come here to relax in the hot springs or by herbs from the shops here, if not to battle the fire type gym leader.

"The people and the Pokémon of this city follow nature's cues to rise each morning and end each day."

Fortree is a special city, in that its residents -- for the most part -- live in houses built high into the branches of the trees. They live together in harmony with the Pokemon in the area, and many of them don't shy away from trainers traveling through here.

" This tourist destination is undergoing a revival, thanks to the popularity of its Pokémon Contest Spectaculars."

Another grand port town, Lilycove is known for its Contest Spectaculars, shopping mall and museum. There is also a nice little hotel that visitors can stay in while they're in town.

"Research is underway day and night in this city, all in the hope of understanding the distant reaches of space."

To the farm reaches of Hoenn lies a relatively large island with an equally impressive town lying on it. Mossdeep is home to the Space Center, where rocks can be seen taking off regularly and when weather permits. A small cove can be found near here that produces items needed for a Shell Bell; a local resident has offered to make them for people who bring the correct amount of ingredients.

" This city, which rises from the crater of a great meteoroid crash, can only be reached through the sea or from the sky."

A wonder in and of itself, Sootopolis was created thousands of years ago when a meteor from space crash landed into the early waters of Hoenn with energy radiating from it. Surrounded by high rock walls on all sides, the only hope of getting inside is by air or diving beneath the waters around the city. An old shrine can be found deep within a cave system here.

"This town first came into being as a floating storehouse used by people living on the ocean's surface."

A town simply floating on the water alongside their houses and Pokemon, the people of this oceanic town have lived like this for generations. Many sea bearing Pokemonn can be found floating amongst the people without a care, and one can easily fish from any spot among the town.

Ruins are said to lie towards the east.

"A sandy town that is located right next to a beach. It is redolent with the salty scent of the sea."

A place of humble beginnings, this town sits on a beach and his home to the Professor of this region, who studies in Pokemon evolution.

"The most modernized city in the Sinnoh region. It is bustling with people on the go. The Pokétch Company, the developer and manufacturer of the Pokétch, is located here."

A city with more hustle and bustle than those around it, a television company alongside a few other nameable places can be found there. There is an abundance of apartment buildings here as well.

"A town of flower lovers, Floaroma Town is always perfumed with the sweet scent of flowers. A short, floral pathway opens up to a sprawling sea of flowers in bloom."

A small, quaint community surrounded by a field of flowers. It smells great here almost all year round. Among the tiny houses is a flower shop quite popular with tourists. There is also a large field of flowers blocked off by a line of trees; a man there collects the honey produced by the flowers.

Surprisingly, Feugo Ironworks is just across the river from this city.

"A vibrant and entergetic mining town that is blessed with a natural resource."

A small mining town and known for its research in fossil Pokemon and restoring them, one can also find a rather impressive town alongside the gym.

"An old city that shows fading and almost-forgotten vestiges of ancient history."

This city has had its fill of history, with many statues and landmarks to be found here. There are a few apartment buildings alongside an herb shop, and the second gym in Sinnoh.

This friendly city started as a place where people and Pokémon gathered, then grew into a center of commerce."

A rather bustling city known for both it's gym challenges and Pokemon Contests, this lively city is also home to Amity Sqaure; a park where people can take relaxing walks with their Pokemon. A church can also be found here.

The temperate climate makes this town a relaxed and casual place for people and Pokémon to live in.”

Solaceon is a small, quiet city where many of the people that live here are those that work in the sun with their Pokemon. A daycare is one of the most prominent features here, with the Solaceon Ruins being the first.

A large and prominent city carved into stone. A gym, store and gme corner can be found here; residents also say strange figures can be seen going in and out of the abandon Galactic HQ on occasion.

This city was originally founded to protect the Great Marsh. It has grown naturally over the years.”

A nice seafront city with the Great Marsh at its back, Pastoria is home to many Pokemon that can be found roaming in and outside of the city. Crasher Wake is rather fond of the water types in the area.

A tiny town that preserves the history of Sinnoh and the old ways of life.”

A small town hidden away in the mountains aiming to preserve the natural history of Sinnoh. There is a shrine in the town center, as well as a cave with strange writing and pictures on them that date from long ago.

”A port city that is bisected by a canal. It has a distinctly exotic air of foreign culture.”

This port city is often bustling with ships coming in and out. A lot of trainers coming and going to and from other regions can also be found here. Aside from the gym, the local inn and the library are must-see sights.

Sometimes, a sea captain will give rides to Iron Island in his off time.

”A winter wonderland of a city where stout trees and buildings are blanketed in thick snow.”

Another port city well into the northern most reaches in the region. It snows nearly year round here, and is almost always cold. To the northern most part of the city, one can find Snowpoint Temple; however no one has ever been allowed to enter as of recent.

”A port city that was built around the bay portion of the cape. The Vista Lighthouse's bright beacon illuminates the Sinnoh region.”

A city full of technological advances, this port city is always bustling with life and people thanks to its local gym leader. A bazaar can be found here, as well as the last stretch to the Pokemon League.
